  • Module 2: Learn the steps to prepare for Office upgrades in Windows at scale, including the prerequisites and tools provided by Microsoft to help you get ready for Office upgrades and for long-term management.

    In this module, you will learn about:

    • The prerequisites, considerations, and update channel options for Office
    • Office-related network optimization, language, policy, and common configurations
    • Readiness tools to discover and assess the compatibility of Office COM add-ins and VBA Macros
    • Module 3: Learn how to perform Office upgrades in Windows at scale, including the tools to help you create, configure, and deploy Office packages.

      In this module, you will learn:

      • How to define the processes and how to use tools to download and configure an Office installation.
      • How to use the Office Customization Tool to create and configure an Office application package.
      • How to monitor Office upgrades and updates using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager.
      • Module 4: Learn how to manage and troubleshoot common issues with Office in Windows.

        In this module, you will learn:

        • How to define update management options and how they work across Microsoft 365 Apps and Office 2019.
        • How to add apps, languages, or configurations to existing Office installations using a method called “second install.”
        • How to troubleshoot and manage common issues with software updates, activation, and potentially corrupted or misconfigured installations.
